In February 2019, the first Research Congress of the Health Science and Technology Park was held. Two years later, following a pandemic that demonstrated Granada’s significant potential in research, development, healthcare, and training, a second edition took place, expanding and consolidating its success by bringing together over 400 researchers and more than 300 presentations. This event is now set to resume, gathering the research community of the city. In 2025, the third edition of the congress will be held, bringing together the full research potential of the life sciences and health ecosystem. The main objectives of this edition are to create synergies and foster knowledge transfer between the participating entities and groups, communicate new research findings, introduce the services of various institutions, and promote the offerings and demands of different companies based in Granada. Additionally, the congress aims to engage the public with this important sector and enhance the visibility of biosanitary research both within the city and beyond, raising its profile on a national level.
